This is an original DeWALT replacement part. The rip fence is found on jig saws. This is an optional accessory made of metal, which comes with a spring and a plastic adjusting knob. It is used to hold the material for cutting, to make easy straight cuts. No tools are required when replacing this item. Simply remove the old part and insert the new one in its place.
