This handle/tank is an authentic Rowenta replacement part and is compatible with steam irons. The handle/tank acts as a handle to easily control the iron, as well as a tank to hold the water to create steam. This part is made of durable plastic and is sold individually. There are no tools are required for this repair, simply snap the bottom of the handle/tank into the soleplate and thermostat (pate number: RS-UL4332) to install.
