1. Removed screws with applicable screwdriver (2 different size screw heads).
2. Split driver casing to reveal inner workings.
3. Confirmed that the trigger switch could not be reset or repaired without ordering new part(s).

5. Once part arrived I confirmed it would replace current bad switch.
6. Used soldering gun to remove current switch from motor (De-soldering red and black wires from motor).
7. Soldered new switch wires to motor.
8. Tested the new switch to confirm it worked with battery prior to re-assembling.
9. Placed new switch and motor back in housing.
10. Assembled housing with applicable screws.
11. Inserted battery and tested new switch to confirm repairs were successful.
12. Works like new.
13. Noticed I forgot to add heat shrink tubing to electrical connections after re-soldering wire. However, the driver appears to work just fine so I will not be taking it apart again just for this, unless it creates a future problem.
14. All parts worked so well I have now ordered parts for my battery operated string trimmer (currently awaiting their delivery).
