This is a genuine Milwaukee component which is supplied by the original manufacturer. It is specially designed for hex impact drivers. This is an important part of the impact mechanism which helps to drive the bits. An impact driver's anvil can wear down at both the tip where bits attach and inside the housing where the hammer strikes it. If this happens to either part of the anvil, you will need to replace it. To ensure the correct repair procedure, refer to the owner's manual and the diagrams for your model. Keep in mind this high-quality assembly is sold as an individual item.
