Removed the screws in the handle. Installed new switch. Would have put it back together but found out I needed a new housing to go with the switch. If you have not updated the housing make sure you buy the switch and housing kit.

Had to cut and file different parts of the chassis to enable the new switch, that was different then the old switch, to be able to sit properly in the position needed for it to work. If I had known it would be such a hassle to make the switch fit I would have just purchased a new impact tool. Not a good replacement for my old switch!!!

Took screws out of impact wrench then removed the switch component. Then had to grind down the inside of handle in several places so the new formatted switch would fit as the wires where not that flexible which kept the handle from closing. Still had to leave two screws loose has the trigger will not slide back out. Hopefully the trigger will wear enough to tighten the last two screws in handle.
