Terrible replacement , one star
The card that was part of the trigger assembly wouldnt fit in the handle, filed out parts of the plastic in the handle, I repaired lots of electric tools, this was absolutely terrible, 5 hrs, took it apart 25 times, now the trigger sticks, unusable, cannt use it this way, out 90 bucks now. poor replacement, should drop in and be a HR job,

Removed the screws in the handle. Installed new switch. Would have put it back together but found out I needed a new housing to go with the switch. If you have not updated the housing make sure you buy the switch and housing kit.
Removed the housing and carefully separated them
I then noted how the wires were located
I remove the old switch and installed the new one
The screwed the housings back together
removed screws from housing
removed screws from trigger assembly
pulled out
intalled new kit
removed old armature
replaced new armuture
intalled screws back in case
works like a new one
Had to cut and file different parts of the chassis to enable the new switch, that was different then the old switch, to be able to sit properly in the position needed for it to work. If I had known it would be such a hassle to make the switch fit I would have just purchased a new impact tool. Not a good replacement for my old switch!!!
Took screws out of impact wrench then removed the switch component. Then had to grind down the inside of handle in several places so the new formatted switch would fit as the wires where not that flexible which kept the handle from closing. Still had to leave two screws loose has the trigger will not slide back out. Hopefully the trigger
