This is a set of 10 chrome-metal steel balls that are used within various models of nail guns, also known as nailers, and impact wrenches. These steel balls are used within the impact mechanism to transfer power from the impact housing to the chuck and eventually the workpiece. Measuring 3.175mm in diameter, these metal balls are not only made of steel, meaning they are highly durable, but they are also directly from the original equipment manufacturer. If you notice a loss of power, rotational force or strange noises coming from your tool, it would be worth inspecting and potentially replacing the steel ball(s). Due to these steel balls being used in a variety of tools, you may require different tools to access and replace them, but generally you will need a screwdriver and pliers to remove and replace them.
