The pin retainer goes between the anvil and the hammer case. This authentic item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with impact wrenches made by Hitachi. It is available as an individual replacement part. A screwdriver and a set of pliers may be necessary during the installation of this item. This part is made out of metal and will need to be replaced if it breaks.
