?This is an authentic OEM replacement part, sold individually. The Hog Ring holds the bit holder assembly together, it is inserted in the very front of the sleeve. Without it the complete bit holder assembly would completely fall apart. Screwdriver is needed for repair. Compatible with the impact drivers listed below.

Remove washer spring cap and ball
Put new parts in and reassemble
Be careful the hog ring is hard to get on
Start on one side and work it around your job is done
If your impact driver does not hold a bit replace the spring behind cap.
