This is a genuine Dewalt replacement part, it is sold in individually with the mounting screw. The Dewalt Belt Hook is attached to the bottom of the handle assembly on the tool model numbers shown below. Its purpose is to hook the tool to your belt when not using the tool.

Tool had been dropped andthe bottom of handle broke off

Removed all housing torx screws, and separated them. Then took pictures of how all of the parts were installed in the housings. Transferred the parts from the from the old housing to the new housing and replaced the missing belt hook.

The housing on my dewalt impact was broken

Took all the screws out of the body of the impact took the internal parts and moved them to the new housing screwed it back together took less then 15 minutes

Took out the screws that hold the handle together.
Removed the motor, trigger, forward and reverse selector and speed selector.
Put everything into the new handle, snaped it back togeather and reincerted the screws.
Made sure everything worked and tightened the screws.

Got it in the mail took longer to get out of the package then it did to put on the drillonly goes on one way. Didnt realize there were so many different designs so glad i ordered the right ones
