1. Removed the hedge trimmer gear case from the hedge trimmer arms
2. Disassembled the hedge trimmer gear case keeping the internal parts to replace in the new gear case
3. Removed the grease fitting from the damaged gear case and placed on the new gear case
4. Carefully reassembled all the internal parts within the new
... Read moregear case - this step took some trial and error due to my confusion with how the parts synced together
5. Placed a new gasket
6. Placed a new gear case cover and reassembled back to the hedge trimmer arms
7. Applied new grease via the grease fitting
8. Tested and it worked!
