1. Remove head assembly, pull off trimmer unit.
2. Pry loose pinion gear and bearing unit.
3. Pull bearing and bevel gear.
4. Put bevel gear in first, then position pinion gear under bevel gear..
5. Fill area with grease.
6. Add bearings and reinstall head and attach to trimmer shaft.
