Lens on bathroom ventilator melted from incandescent bulb use

Remove lens by squeezing the sides and pulling down. Snap in new lens. Perfect fit! I also replaced the incandescent bulb with an LED bulb to prevent the problem from reoccurring. Incandescent bulb makes too much heat for a plastic lens.

Broken fan lens burned from hot bulb melted lens

Replaced bulb too strong for light...
Lens melted from a 100 watt bulb..
Wanted the bathroom to have more light but
It was a bad idea to put too strong wattage bulb I. That
Lite with the heater and exhaust fan.

But the new lens fit perfect for light...
I had gone to 3 electrical supply stores and they
Could not order the part. Your company had it on the web site. And I bought it on line and came in 6 days to NY
So the wife was happy for once!!

Remove cover, unplug fans and unscrew 2 screws on each. Then replace.

1.Removed original lens by pressing side lens with screwdriver
2.replacement lens presses into place

The light covers on the bathroom vent fans were stained from the per-owner using too high wattage bulbs. Lens\' were available by the manufacturer, but they were the wrong size for the older units.
