This is a genuine OEM part. The Mr. Heater thermocouple lead (12 & #34; long) is compatible with Gas-Fired Infra-Red Portable Heaters. This metal component secures the safety shut-off with orifice to the electrode assembly. A pair of pliers are helpful in the removal and replacement. The thermocouple lead is sold individually. Please refer to manual for further safety and repair instructions.

removed the defective part. Carefully bent the new thermocouple and fastened it into the \"gas block\" and the front of burner. Had to adjust the thermocouple end so that it was not touching grid
