Hello Bill, Thank you for writing. If the Pilot is too far from the flame, this can cause the pilot to go out and shut down the heater. We suggest checking the Pilot placement and move it closer to the flame if needed. The Pilot could also be worn out, in which case it needs to be replaced. We hope this solves your problem!
