Since this is a ceiling mounted heater a magnetic screwdriver is handy for holding onto small screws. Remove the metal grille from the unit. Then remove the two screws attaching the element and remove the old element. Install the new grille in reverse order.

Took old unit off 6 screws replaced with new unit installed 6 screws

Heating unit broke

1 Removed cover from heater.
2 Removed screws from heating element, removed element from brackets.
3 Placed new element in brackets and made the connection by using the screws I had removed.
4 Tested unit to see that it worked OK.
5 Replaced cover. Replaced tools and disposed of bad element.
