Snap end cap on the the back of heat gun, where the other end cap used to be...before my overpaid no good coworker dropped it like first period history class.
remove the broken cap
if their are pieces inside of the body remove two C rings and two screws at the bottom of the handle
pull the two halves apart and dump out the broken pieces.
reassemble the halves
align the cap prongs with the holes in the back of the body and push the new cap on until it clicks in place
