This is an older Master heat gun that apparently Bosch bought out. The Bosch parts were exactly the same and fit perfectly. I disassembled the handle by unscrewing the two halves and removed the switch to access the circlip inside the body. Assembly was the in reverse order, with the additional use of a clamp to hold the two handle halves
... Read more together so the handle screws would reach the threaded inserts. The strain relief blocks in the handle needed to be compressed around the new power cord so the handles would come together. Repair completely successful!
