This is an authentic Makita replacement part found in a rotary hammer. The tool retainer is used to hold the bit or other attachment in the barrel of the tool. It features a metal shaft with threaded end and a plastic knob that has been contoured for easy grip. No tools are required to replace this item. Simply remove the old part, and slot the new one into its place. This part is sold individually.
