This is a genuine Makita replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with rotary hammers. The tool retainer fits inside the chuck cover near the tool holder. The tool retainers are used to secure the bits to the holder. This item is sold as an individual replacement part, please note two retainers may be needed.
