This is an authentic OEM component from Makita. The o-ring 71 is constructed of rubber, and is compatible with many rotary hammers. Depending on the model, this item is often used as a protective seal for the barrel, bearing box or crank cap. The o-ring is sold individually. A hex key, screwdriver and pliers are helpful with the replacement. Please refer to the manual for further repair directions.
