This is a genuine replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with rotary hammers. The plastic end cap is used to cover the bottom of the lower housing. The cap is slotted to allow air to flow over the motor. The end cap is available as an individual replacement part, please note a philips head screwdriver is needed to install this part.
