1. Removed the screws.
2. Separated the two sides.
3. Cut the wires to the damaged switch.
4. Stripped the wires
5. Slid the heat shrink up the wires.
6. Prepped the wires, put them into the leads on a new switch.
7. Soldered them on with rosin core solder.

9. Then ran all the wires appropriately.
10. Set switch in its place bent the wires to the battery leads so that I could put the two sides back together and screw it all back together.
