The carbon brush set is sold as a set of two brushes. They attach to the housing. A set of pliers might be needed during the installation process. They are made out of metal and plastic and will need to be replaced if they break. These are OEM Milwaukee parts directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in hammer drills.
