This is an authentic Metabo replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with demolition hammers. Bushes are considered wear items because they press against the commutator bars as the armature rotates. Brushes will wear out eventually and replacing the brushes is part of normal tool maintenance. This brush set includes both brushes the lead wires, and the sets are sold individually.
