This K5 x 45 screw uses a T20 star-shaped drive and secures parts on select rotary hammers. Its exact position can differ by tool, so find the matching callout on the exploded diagram before removing anything. A missing or loose screw may let the housing shift, but a cracked mounting post can cause the same problem. Unplug the tool or remove its battery and let it cool. Compare the old and new screws, place the housing halves together without gaps, and start the screw by hand. Tighten it evenly with the correct T20 driver.
