This replacement o-ring is specially designed for use with Makita rotary hammers. It is an authentic manufacturer sourced item that is used to provide a seal for the striker and the piston. For correct location please make sure to check appropriate diagrams of your unit. Over time seals and o-rings tend to shrink, become brittle and crack eventually requiring replacement. Please note one durable rubber o-ring is included per order. Replacing this item you would need hex key which is also known as an allen wrench to complete the repair.
