Carbon brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool components, they maintain physical contact with an armature helping to conduct electric current. Over time brushes will wear away eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. It is a high-quality brush set which includes two durable carbon brushes with attached lead wires, please note brush holders are sold separately.
