This is a fairly common occurrence. I\'ve had the tool for over twenty years and made this exact repair at least 5 times. Fortunately it is a very easy repair to make. ... Read morert slightly. That\'s the only thing holding the T bolt in place. Chunk it into the trash and reverse the previous steps. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes. If you have an older machine (like mine) it will be necessary to also replace the support clamp. The new T bolt is only 40mm long while the older one was 80mm long. As a temporary fix you can just cut 40mm off your old support clamp.
