Open the left side where the cord enters by removing the screws take the side off revealing the armature and brushes. Replace as needed and reassemble. ... Read moreerviced the gearbox and it needed it. Now for a long and productive life. Be careful of the gearbox gasket and use gasket sealer.
Removed and tested the wiring, switch and handle. Removed the end cover for the electric motor. Removed the armature and inspected everything.
Nothing was burt nor broken, but the brushes were worn out.
I replaced the brushes and reassembled everything.
It works like a champ!
