This authentic replacement part is designed for use with Dynabrade power tools. Ball bearings are used to reduce friction between rotating parts. It is one of the bearings for the rotor. The rollers take the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly while the minimal contact area of the ball reduces friction. Over time bearings may begin to wear out compromising tools functionality and eventually requiring a replacement. This part is made from durable metal and it is sold individually.
Removed the front of the grinder, lining up the parts on a clean towel in the order the I removed them, until I got to the air motor. I was able to pull the complete motor out of the housing. I dismantled the motor, removed the old bearings from the end plates, and removed the worn blades. Clean the interior of the grinder, and oiled it.
