This is a genuine OEM part. The DeWALT guard is constructed of metal, and is made for use with several angle grinder tools. This component is fastened between the gearcase assembly and the clamp washer, providing protection to the operator and the blade. The guard is sold individually. A hex wrench is required for the removal and replacement.
