This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for DeWalt angle grinders and cut-off tools. The switch fits inside the housing and is actuated by the switch button and link. This switch is used to relay power from the cord to the motor. A decrease in power is likely caused by the power switch wearing out, and a worn switch will cause the tool to have trouble from starting up, or prevent it from starting at all. This switch is sold as an individual replacement part, please note the switch button and link are sold separately.
