This replacement switch is specially manufactured for Dewalt grinders. It is a genuine part that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. It is used to turn the tool on and off. Mechaincal switches over time will wear out requiring replacement. Switch has a plastic body and it is sold individually. To replace this switch you would need a screwdriver. • Remove the housing • Remove the old switch • Place the new switch in the housing and connect wires to it • Reassemble and test the grinder
