Dust cover was torn, rear bearing was bad, drill made a grinding noise when it was running.

Removed screws from dill housing, separated housing, removed motor, used puller to press out motor shaft from bearing, pressed on new bearing to motor shaft, installed motor back inside drill housing, removed trigger from housing, removed torn dust cover from trigger, installed new dust cover on to trigger, installed trigger back in to dr ill housing, assembled drill housing together, installed screws, plugged in drill runs like new with no noise.

Remove the grinding wheel, inner and outer flanges, guard flange, guard, spring washer, and gear case cover. If you\'re lucky the bearing will come out with the gearcase cover. If not, it will have to be removed from the spindle. You can use a bearing puller a bearing separator. Or if you know some one that has a press you can use that t o. Remove the old bearing and press on the new bearing. Then install all of the parts that you removed.
