The ignition system on our Weber grill failed (after 11 years). Just had to replace the ignitor module, ignitor andcwiring. Very easy. While I was at it, I replaced the thermostat that had gotten hazy

... Read morehe burner (Phillips head #1 screwdriver) and replaced the ground lead and its screw that affixes the ground to the burner. Then just plug the ends of the leads into the correct terminals on the ignitor module. And youGÇÖre done!
The thermometer replacement required the pliers to break loose the wing nut (inside) that secures the thermometer to the lid. A new wing nut is supplied with the new thermometer.
