Burners were getting old and had cracks in them...uneven burning...my gas line had a burn spot on it.

Took the burner knobs off and then lifted the stainless plate (should have been screwed on but it was not) and disconnected the igniter. Unbolted the burner frame from the pit (2 bolts) with a socket wrench. Lifted the frame up and away from the burners. The smaller tube made it somewhat difficult at first but then I was able to work the middle tube out and then I took the other tubes out. It was a matter of reassembling at that point. Maybe an hour but I also cleaned my pit well while I was doing this.

Removed all parts to expose the tube. Unbolted it and installed the new one. Adjusted the air flow inlets. Tightened the screws and put the grates, etc back in place. All works well.
