This is an authentic Weber replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with outdoor charcoal grills. The metal hex nut is used to fasten the bolt that secures the damper to the lid of the grill to regulate ventilation through the cookbox. The special nut is sold as an individual replacement part, please note a hex wrench and screwdriver are needed to install this item.
