This is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from Weber. This assembly is used on the lid of portable grills. It features a metal heat shield specially designed to block heat from the handle area. This assembly includes a wingnut-style socket for the bolts that attach the heat shield to the lid.

Place tape in the front where you intend to mount the additional handle with heat shield. Find center of lid and mark the holes using the handle assembly as a guide. Use a small drill bit to make the initial holes, then ream with a step drill bit or unibit to the appropriate size to accommodate the Weber handle with heat shield. Instal

The handle on my weber grill was damaged during a wind storm when it blew over
The handle replacement was simple 2 nuts on the inside of the lid hold the handle on. The wheels I used pliers to remove the retainer clips holding the old wheels on. Once the clips are removed the wheels slid off and the new wheels slid on I used a light hammer to set the new retainer clips and secure the new wheels. My grill looks brand
