Sides were rusted as well so I needed to use a hammer and pliers to get the bolts off. Needed to add larger washers to attach the new unit to the sides (they probably need replacement too). All in all it went well with the new burners and ignition I added last month it\'s like a new grill!

Bottom tray of my Weber Genesis 310 was rusting out and needed replacement.
1. Disconnected and removed the LP tank.
2. Removed two screws that held the drip pan support to the base.
3. Used a wrench/sockets to remove the bottom tray.
4. Reversed the process to reassemble.

... Read morese putting a new bottom on when there is rust. I\'ll easily get at least another five years out of the grill.
Problem encountered: the new shelf did not have slots in the front to put the magnets that keep the front doors closed. I ended up using super glue to glue the magnets to the bottom shelf in a position where they reached the doors.

The floor of the Weber Genesis bbq grill was rusted out and needed to be replaced
The company THE GRILL DOCTOR from Margate, Florida did the repair as I did not have the tools or the experience to complete the repair. They placed the grill on a table and cut the screws with a cutting saw as the screws were so rusted on the frame. They replaced the part and cleaned the grill, grates and flavor bars.
Needed 7/16\" socket and vice grips to remove old part. Took top of grill off and removed grates so I could lay the grill down on it\'s back after removing the back cover. Other than that is was pretty easy.
