This is a genuine replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for Weber charcoal grills. The lid is used to retain heat in the grill to ensure the food gets cooked evenly and safely. This part is made of metal and sold individually, the handle is sold separately. There are no tools required for this part, however, you will need a screwdriver to install the handles on the lid.
