1. Had to add metal on the inside of kettle bowl.
2. Rebore the holes in the metal that I patched onto the bowl.
3. Then was able to reaffix the dampeners.
4. The replacement product was of excellent quality.

Bent and non turning dampers

Turn grill on side, sprayed nuts with super-lube, used nut driver and screw driver to removed nuts and bolts and old dampers. Removed new dampers and nuts and bolts supplied in kit and installed them on my Weber grill 30 minutes later from starting was placing steaks on my grill!

Held nut with pliers and unscrew bolts. Then replace with new parts and tighten.
