This is an authentic Weber replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with smokers/cookers. The metal lid fits over the center ring and is used to cover the cooking grate and to provide access to the grill. Tools are not needed to install the lid however, a screwdriver and wrench may be needed to install the handle and damper. The lid is sold individually, please note the damper, handle, and thermometer are available separately.
