I first removed the knobs from the grill and unscrewed the two side screws to the cover panel off. Once removed, I opened the grill and took out the grates, and flavorizer bars to get to the two nuts on the inside of the fire box. Removed the bolts and popped out the manifold, replaced manifold and used the new set of nut and bolts, pu t the cover and the knobs back. I checked to make sure the burner tubes lit, once that was checked I put the flavorizer bars and grates back on and was ready to roll. Quick and easy, it is like a whole new grill.

Removed control knobs and protective piece covering the manifold area. Unbolted the manifold from the barbeque and removed it. Installed the new manifold, replaced removed parts and things were ready to go. Barbeque is a Genisis I (an oldie) and I thought I\'d never find parts for it. Repairs were a piece of cake.

Our 19 year old Weber Genesis 1000 LX grill had no gas flow through the manifold from the full propane tank. We tried replacing just the fuel regulator first and that did not work.

We followed the directions in the owner\'s manual to remove the old spider guards, manifold and ignition assembly, which was very easy...just a few screws and than just installed the new manifold which had the fuel tank regulator already attached, snapped the spider guards over the valves and popped in the little ignition assembly. We wer e very pleased that for less than $100 a 19 year old Weber grill was back in working order. Saved a ton of money over the cost of a new Weber grill of comparable quality.

2. Remove knobs and side burner
3. Remove cover plate
4. Unbolt the old manifold assembly
5. Adjust burner openings
6. Bolt in new manifold
7. Reassemble

Even though kit came with instructions, if your handy, very easy swap to save hundreds and not have to purchase new Weber grill. Fit perfectly for my Genesis. Hopefully I can get another 20 years out of this manifold.
