Presto has manufactured this part to be used on multiple models of griddles. The Left Base Frame is made of a high temperature plastic. This part is used as a handle as well and feet for the left side of the griddle. If the Frame becomes damaged where the no longer sits level or if the handle portion has broken, then this part will need to be replaced. Replacing this part is simple and only requires a Philips head screwdriver.
1. Noted location of 2 screws that hold on broken handle/foot (called \"Left base frame\")
2. Remove these screws, set aside in bowl.
3. pulled broken part of old handle off
4. Put new handle in its place
5. replaced screws

Grill got dropped and both plastic handles got broke.
Removed the four retaining screws. Broken pieces came off as two pieces on each end.
Replaced the leg assembly with the four retaining screws. Proceeded to cook pancakes.
