This is a genuine Napoleon replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with outdoor gas grills. The electrode attaches to the fire box near the main burner tube. This item creates an electric arc that ignites the fuel that is emitted by the burner. The electrode is sold as an individual replacement part.
