This item provides an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing component that was installed on a new unit. The module is powered by a single "AAA" battery which is sold separately.

Pulled the knobs off. Unscrewed the face plate from the grill. Detached the ignition unit nut from the face. Unscrewed the spark unit from the burner tubes. Removed unit and replaced reversing instructions.
