Burner and igniter was bad. This unit has 2 different burners.

Removed the deteriorated grate style burner.
Removed the broken ignitor.
Replaced with the same \"U\" style burner as the other side.
Installed the new ignitor.
Made a arc point for the broken ignitor with a wire and tightened to retainer nut.
Tested each unit.
Installed new briquette rack.
Works like customer wanted.

Burner shields were rusted and falling apart

My only issue with replacing these burner shields was removing the screws from the old ones. I had to allow penetrating oil like (liquid wrench) to soak around screws for a couple hours before the screws would come out. After that the installation of the new parts was effortless.
