This is an authentic OEM supplied replacement part that is specially made for Broil-Mate gas grills. The purpose of an electrode is to provide the spark that ignites the gas. If the burner won\'t light, first clean the electrode and check that it\'s aligned. If the problem persists, replace the igniter electrode. Please note one durable metal and ceramic electrode is included per order.

All 4 burners were burned out & cracked. Both electrodes didn\'t work so had to light grill with match or lighter. All of the Flav-R-Wave heat.deflectors we\'re rusted.

1. Removed old burners, Flav-R-Wave & electrodes.
2. Put in new electrodes first, then burners, then layed Flav-R-Waves just under grates on ledge.
3. Pretty simpe. Took about 10 min.

Removed old igniter & electrodes. Replaced electrodes, plugged them into the new igniter Installed AAA battery. Grille started on first try

Inside of grill burners, igniters, etc were burned out.

I identified the parts that needed replacement and ordered new parts. Cleaned up the grill replaced old parts. Replacement was easy,no tools invoked. The grill was given to me at a sale and I was able to give many years of new life to a quality grill with the help of replacement parts. Works great!

Gas grill Igniter was inoperative

Disconnected 2 igniter wires with needle nose pliers and removed igniter body by unscrewing by hand from front of grill - connected igniter wires to new igniter and hand tightened to front of grill - time to repair maybe 5-6 minutes - didn\'t use electrode that I ordered as mine were okay

Used phone camera to document disassembly matched up parts that were too rusted with diagram, reassembled with shiny new ones. I cleaned up everything with wire brush then portable steam cleaner
