This is a manufacturer approved replacement part designed use with for Broil-Mate gas grills. This part has a plastic body and it is sold individually. Igniter produces the spark to ignite the burner. It requires a "AAA" battery which is sold separately. Replacing this electronic ignition module is easy and does not require any tools • Unplug the wires from the old ignition module • Unscrew the button that holds it to the unit • Place a new module in place • Install a "AAA" battery and secure the module with the button • Connect the wires

Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Removed old igniter disconnecting the three wires and easily removing it. Placed new unit with new aaa batteries in place, snapped in the three wires and hand tightened the nut in place and tightening 1/4 turn with pliers. Worked like a charm. No instructions were needed. The part was exactly as I ordered.

Inside of grill burners, igniters, etc were burned out.
I identified the parts that needed replacement and ordered new parts. Cleaned up the grill replaced old parts. Replacement was easy,no tools invoked. The grill was given to me at a sale and I was able to give many years of new life to a quality grill with the help of replacement parts. Works great!
1. Unplug the wires from the old module
2. Unscrew the button
3. Place a new module in place
4. Install the battery and the button
5. Connect the wires
Unscrew the the front knob of the ignitor, then unscrew the nut holding the ignitor on and remove the ignitor. Replace the leads one at a time from the old to the new one, then just reverse the order of removal.
