Removed end cover of the generator where the AVR is located by removing two 5/16 head screws then disconnecting the the quick connect wires then remove the two 5/16 nuts that secure the line voltage wires then remove the two sta/con connections from the brushes assembly removed the two 5/16 head screws pull out the AVR and install the new
